Directions for Stage 1 and 2 Infant Formulas (Powdered):

Carefully measure and mix formula to avoid health hazards.

  1. Always wash hands before preparing formula. Wash and rinse can top before opening.
  2. Boil clean bottles, nipples, and preparation utensils for 5 minutes.
  3. Boil additional water for formula to a rolling boil (at least 2 mintues), then let cool to lukewarm temperature (approximately 37ºC).
  4. Add 1 level unpacked scoop (enclosed) (8.7 g) of powder to each 2 fl. oz. (60 mL) of water. Always add the powder to the water.
  5. Feed immediately, or cover and refrigerate prepared formula. Warm to body temperature and shake well before feeding. After feeding, any formula not used within 1 hour should be discarded. Use refrigerated product within 24 hours.
  6. Store unopened cans at room temperature; avoid any extreme temperatures. Cover opened can tightly with a plastic lid and store in cool, dry place. DO NOT REFRIGERATE OR FREEZE. Use contents within 1 month of opening.

WARNING: DO NOT USE MICROWAVE TO PREPARE OR WARM FORMULA. SERIOUS BURNS MAY OCCUR

Directions for Stage 1 Infant Formulas (Concentrate):

Carefully measure and mix formula to avoid health hazards.

  1. Always wash hands before preparing formula. Wash and rinse can top before opening.
  2. Boil clean bottles, nipples, and all preparation utensils for 5 minutes.
  3. Boil additional water for formula to a rolling boil (at least 2 minutes), then let cool to lukewarm temperature (approximately 37 ºC).
  4. Shake can and open with punch opener.
  5. Pour equal amounts of lukewarm boiled water and concentrated liquid into a clean container. Mix well, then pour into required number of bottles.
  6. Feed immediately, or cover and refrigerate bottled formula. Warm to body temperature, test temperature and shake well before feeding. After feeding, any formula not used within 1 hour should be discarded.
  7. Store unopened cans at room temperature; avoid any extreme temperatures. Cover and store opened formula can in refrigerator. Use refrigerated formula within 24 hours. DO NOT FREEZE. SHAKE WELL BEFORE OPENING.

WARNING: DO NOT PREPARE IN MICROWAVE. SERIOUS BURNS MAY OCCUR.

Directions for Toddler Nutritional Supplement:

To make 1 (200 mL) serving, add 4 unpacked level scoops (36 g) of powder to 170 mL of warm water. Mix until dissolved. Refrigerate and use within 48 hours. Use contents within 1 month of opening.
